Rafael Cala Lores was born in 1948 in Cuba. He began painting seriously in the late 1980’s. Currently, Lores lives in Moa, a town located in Holguin Provence. When he is not painting he is a professional metal tool mechanic and finds inspiration in the everyday scenes around his town. He participates in Santa Fair’s and has sold ALL of his paintings.
